After Service Uploads

This explains the "processing" that happens to service recordings

flowchart TD A{Asheboro Service} --> ATEM --> RESI RESI --> YOUTUBE RESI --> L{Liberty Service} RESI --> FaceBook ATEM -- Sermon ISO CAM 1 --> ATEM-HDD RESI -- Whole Service backup --> ATEM-HDD ATEM-HDD -- Re-Encoded CAM 1 --> SermonShots ATEM-HDD -- Edited .wav (Mic 1) --> Spreaker YOUTUBE -- trimmed whole service & sermon --> YOUTUBE

Only last song + sermon are recorded on the ATEM and OBS (obs recording is a failsafe for a stream issue on the Spanish Livestream)

After Service

  1. First we handle archiving the service
    1. In the RESI dashboard, go to media and download the whole service. Name the file like 20251102 Sunday
    2. Move the full service recoridng to the backup HDD (it's where backup hard drive is)
  2. Next we prep for the Podcast
    • Get the .wav for Mic 1 from the ATEM's ISO recordings on a thumb drive or OneDrive for later editing
  3. Next we get raw footage for SermonShots
    1. Get Cam 1 video from the ATEM's ISO recordings to the Mac's desktop from video iso
    2. Re-Encode to H.264 1080 with delete after processing checked
    3. Upload that to sermonshots (must be < 10 gb)
  4. Trash the ATEM's whole ISO folder, we do not need the rest of the full quality recordings to be kept

SOMEWHAT LATER Wait for media team to trim & style the youtube livestream. Then download it and re-upload to Subsplash media along with podcast

Trimming the Stream

A day after the stream, we can do the following.

In YouTube

  1. pick the video from content -> live
  2. go to editor -> trim and cut and pick in & out points
    • typically sermon to alter call
  3. save as new
  4. go to video tab & customize (title, description, thumbnail)
  5. go back to livestream, trim & this time save over
    • trim off pre-service announcement loop & countdown, end at alter call or when feels natural
  6. use end screen to suggest a different video

In Subsplash

  1. Create new media item
  2. Upload podcast first (instead of using auto-extracted audio)
  3. Upload the video (downloaded from trimmed whole service on youtube)
