Mindset

The goal is to highlight, represent and record services with excellence. Services are finite, but your role is the window to hundreds of souls who aren't in the building each week.

Being intentional with broadcast is important, for example don't zoom and focus on people praying together. Participating in service is great, but not always an open invitation to be recorded and broadcast outside the building.

Responsibilities

• Outside Service
  • Occasionally check on the past livestream to get ideas on camera moves, framing, or other improvements
• Service (-15min)
  • Setup station
  • Ensure stream is running (15 minutes before service)
  • Work with Sound Technician & Media positions to manage good audio levels & check overlays

Words to Know

• ATEM – Video Switcher, Recorder, Compositor
• RESI – AV Encoder, Handles capturing and sending the stream to:
  • Liberty, YouTube & Facebook
• OBS – Livestreaming App for Spanish Livestream (Iglesia Reach)
• Camera Controller – Joystick and power controls for cameras

Troubleshooting

• Stream is too quiet!
  • Ask your sound tech for some more livestream volume. Target is the middle to top of the yellow on the audio visualizer.
• The joystick isn't working!
  • On the Camera Controller's screen, check the top right button PTZ Active. It should be orange/enabled
• Cameras look too yellow or too blue!
  • We need to reload the config presets using the Mac & the website for controlling the cameras, or using the Camera Controller's presets feature
