Lighting Changes
Part of media is managing the room's lighting. Where possible we automate this, but here are some guidelines we try to follow
- During pre-service & countdown
- stage lights are off
- house lights are bright
- During worship
- stage lights & wash lights are on matching what is on the screens
- house lights are dim
- During greeting/offering
- house lights are turned up somewhat
- During videos
- the stage lights are off, and the house lights are very dim
- During sermons
- the stage and house lights are both on
- After service
- the stage lights are turned down
Shutdown
- Turn off the lights using the ProPresent macro
- Quit ProPresenter & Blinderkitten
- (Asheboro only) Press the Off button on the bottom right of the touchscreen light controller, you'll hear a series of clicks from the translation booth shutting off the power to the lights
- Click Apple Icon on top left and Lock screen
- Ensure stage screen (TV) is off
WARNING DO NOT SHUTDOWN THE MAC PLEASE. We remote into it throughout the week to prep for the next service
